Please note that if you are entering Brazil via Peru, Ecuador or Columbia, you will be required to provide an up to date yellow fever vaccination certificate for immigration purposes.

Location: Western extreme of Paraná, at the border with Paraguay and Argentine - South Latitude 25º 32' 45" and West Longitude 54º 35' 07"
Limits: In the north with the Itaipulândia District, to the south with Argentina, to the east with the Santa Terezinha de Itaipu and São Miguel do Iguaçu Districts and to the west with Paraguay.
Altitude: average of 173 meters.
Topography: Presents gentle slopes, with clay soil, from eruptive origin, and which is deep and rich in organic matter.
Hydrography: nine hydrographic micro-basins, being seven of them within the Foz do Iguassu District perimeter. Main rivers: Paraná, Iguassu, Tamnduá, São João, Almada, M'Boicy and Monjolo, among others.
Forest: Rainforest in the area of the National Park and tropical riverside bushes at the rivers banks.
