Brazilian authorities have distinct rules for issuing visas for foreign citizens. Generally the reciprocity principle is followed. It is strongly recommended that you get this information through Brazilian Embassy or Consulates.

There are no compulsory health requirements for entry into Brazil. Precautions are advised for Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Polio and Malaria. We suggest you contact your local G.P. for current advice and. You are advised to have full medical insurance cover.
Please note that if you are entering Brazil via Peru, Bolívia, Venezuela, Ecuador or Colombia, you will be required to provide an up-to-date yellow fever vaccination certificate (taken at least 10 days before departure) for immigration purposes.
